About The Position

This role focuses on reviewing quotations for accuracy, supporting the Quoting Team with component recommendations, and evaluating cost increases. The position involves estimating labor for new and existing quotations, reviewing customer documentation, and collaborating with various teams for New Production Introductions (NPI) and Design for Manufacturing reports. The role also monitors sales margins and costs, escalating issues to senior management, and supporting continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.)
Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, and organizational skills
Proficient in MS Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access; Internet Explorer and imaging/document creation software, such as Adobe Acrobat
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize tasks.
Available to work overtime and on the weekend when needed.
Maintain courteous relationships with all parties, both internal & external.

Responsibilities

Review all quotations for accuracy before submitting them to the Sales Team.
Support the Quoting Team in recommending alternative components.
Evaluate quoted material cost increases vs. the existing system cost to determine the root cause.
Estimate labor for new Quotations and evaluate labor for requotes.
Review all customer documentation during the quoting process to identify requirements and tooling.
Work with the Documentation Team to implement New Production Introduction (NPI).
Monitor NPI builds to validate that the quotation labor estimates are accurate.
Work with Manufacturing Engineering to provide Design for Manufacturing reports for all NPI builds.
Monitor sales margins, work order labor, and material costs to escalate margin erosion to senior management.
Work with Manufacturing Engineering to support Continuous Improvement projects.
