About The Position

You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Associate for the Manufacturing Engineering team. Our team is responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for electronic and electro‑mechanical assemblies. As the Manufacturing Engineer Associate you will be responsible for creating and implementing Manufacturing Process Plans, designing tooling, and supporting production operators.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen

Nice To Haves

Knowledge in Lean manufacturing concepts and techniques.
Basic skills in 3D modeling software such as Solidworks and 3D Printing prototyping.
Understanding the concept of Root Cause/Corrective Action.
Data analytics.
Familiar with Lean Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement Manufacturing Process Plans (MPPs) for electronic and electro‑mechanical assemblies.
Design tooling, support equipment, and process flows using drafting and software tools.
Provide technical guidance to manufacturing operators to improve assembly performance.
Apply lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cost and increase yields.
Investigate root causes of failures/defects and drive corrective actions.
