About The Position

Lexington Manufacturing, LLC is seeking an enthusiastic Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join their dynamic manufacturing team. This role involves leading and developing a team of Manufacturing Engineers while driving automation, capital projects, process improvements, and operational excellence across manufacturing operations. The position serves as a key technical and people leader, partnering with Operations, Quality, Product Development, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to implement innovative solutions that improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance. Success requires strong leadership, project management, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, along with a passion for developing talent and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This is an on-site position located in Coon Rapids, Minnesota.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related engineering discipline. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant manufacturing engineering experience will be considered.
  • At least 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with progressive responsibility in process improvement, automation, capital projects, and engineering leadership.
  • Proven experience leading and developing technical teams through coaching, performance management, and talent development.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and structured problem-solving practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers.
  • Drive automation, capital projects, process improvements, and operational excellence across manufacturing operations.
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Product Development, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to implement innovative solutions.
  • Improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
  • Manage capital projects from concept through implementation, including equipment specification, vendor management, installation, startup, and validation.
  • Coach, manage performance, and develop talent within the engineering team.
