At Mack Medium Duty (MMD), you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. As the Manufacturing Engineer - Intern, you will support the production and engineering areas by securing and continuously improving the current processes for industrial engineering and assembly. This position will focus on improving methods and providing support during the assembly process. You must embrace fabrication, modification, and evaluation, supporting the assembly activities. You will participate in designing the future of the factory by participating in exiting projects we are running. In this journey, you will report to the Director of Industrial Engineering and collaborate alongside a team of approx. 15 Engineers. The internship role provides students with the opportunity to apply academic knowledge and skills in a manufacturing environment, and to support/promote the graduate’s career goals through interaction with manufacturing engineering professionals. Interns participate in professional activities at the facility by working on practical, innovative, and important projects.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in industrial and systems engineer or mechanical engineering at an accredited school.
  • Completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship.
