Requirements

  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Ability to work full-time during the Spring Term - May 26, 2026 - August 14, 2026.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
  • Strong computer skills using programs such as Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to physically be able to be on their feet the majority of the day and move up and down stairs.

Nice To Haves

  • CAD software experience is beneficial.
  • Mechanical skills are beneficial.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
  • Experience or coursework with CAD software (NX).
  • Anticipated Graduation of May 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with manufacturing engineers to support production lines, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure optimal machine performance and uptime.
  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of tooling for both existing production equipment and new machinery.
  • Utilize CAD software, including NX, to create and modify part designs, tooling, and fixtures.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Operations teams to address production concerns, improve processes, and maintain product standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Support new equipment launches, including setup, validation, and process development.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and accomplishments during weekly meetings with the engineering manager.
