About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineering Intern is responsible for completing manufacturing projects as assigned by the LEAN Manager. This role involves supporting Lean Manufacturing projects and Continuous Improvement initiatives. The intern will produce production metrics, create display boards, and perform time studies to establish production standards. Additionally, the intern will utilize SolidWorks to create drawings for tools, parts, and workstations, and create SOPs and Work Instructions. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a four-year College or university in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access
  • Computer assisted design (CAD) proficiency
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business materials
