About The Position

Blue Origin Operations supports manufacturing and supply chain activities across Blue Origin facilities. This role works closely with engineering design and company leadership to support manufacturing efforts and equipment for avionics hardware and harnesses. The position supports development and operations of New Glenn, Blue Origin’s reusable, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle, and contributes to safe human spaceflight. The Manufacturing Engineer coordinates the production of complex avionics devices and harnesses, translating engineering intent and schematics into functional hardware ready for testing, qualification, and flight. The role maintains manufacturing documentation and configuration records, develops work instructions and specifications, supports product introduction, manages production schedules and tooling, and resolves manufacturing issues. It also leads cell-level manufacturing planning and supplier/process integration, provides shipside support, and helps train junior teammates. The position is an individual-contributor subject matter expert role or may be part of a cross-functional team. The position is on B shift, Monday through Friday, 3 a.m. to 12 a.m., with intermittent weekend shift coverage required. Applicants must meet the stated U.S. work eligibility criteria. A standard background check is required for all positions; additional checks or credentials apply only to certain job profiles.
