About The Position

Raytheon is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC) factories in McKinney, TX. You will be responsible for controlling and improving manufacturing processes, including one or more of the following: composite layup and curing, mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, coating, and structural bonding. You will conduct process improvement projects and will support production, rework, and repair processes for a variety of military products. You will work closely with production personnel, operations and program management, and quality engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Experience writing instructions for manufacturing processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Root cause and corrective action (RCCA) experience.
  • Experience with factory operating systems (CMES, PRISM).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with large teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • B.S. in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, materials engineering, electrical engineering, or composites engineering.

  • Transition development programs to full production.
  • Coordinate efforts with operations management, quality engineering, and assemblers.
