About The Position

This position will design and develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures in order to meet daily production schedules while enhancing productivity and product quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree (± 16 years) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 0-3 years relevant engineering experience
  • Demonstrated experience with CAD systems.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical reasoning, physics, electronics, metal working and plastics.
  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Support product stewardship activities to ensure compliance with global environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in evaluating products for compliance with regulations such as RoHS, REACH, Prop 65, Conflict Minerals, PFAS, and other applicable standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to resolve compliance-related issues.
  • Prepare and maintain regulatory documentation, declarations, compliance certificates, and customer responses.
  • Monitor changes in environmental and product compliance regulations and communicate impacts to the organization.
  • Support sustainability initiatives, including material risk assessments and environmentally responsible product development.
  • Participate in supplier engagement activities to obtain compliance information and improve data quality.
  • Assist in customer audits, regulatory inspections, and internal compliance reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to product compliance and stewardship programs.
  • Analyze compliance data and prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and customers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects related to product stewardship processes and tools.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills at multiple level of organization. Able to articulate findings and analysis in technical reports
  • Collect, review and maintain material composition and compliance data from suppliers and internal databases.
