  • Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001), including document control, ECN/ECO processes, PPAP, NPI gates, and conducting PFMEAs.
  • Proficiency in GD&T (ASME Y14.5 standards), drawing reviews, and tolerance stack-up analyses.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems to manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), establish manufacturing routings, and support operational workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in establishing and scaling manufacturing processes from R&D prototype builds to repeatable, fieldable production.
  • Interface with mechanical and electrical design engineers early in development to support smooth transitions from design to production.
  • Author and refine visual Work Instructions (WIs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), setup sheets, routers, and quality control documentation.
  • Design, prototype, and validate assembly jigs, fixtures, and Go/No-Go inspection gauges.
  • Participate in root cause analysis (RCA), yield optimization projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with Quality Management System (QMS) activities, including PFMEAs, Engineering Change Orders (ECO/ECN), incoming inspections, and first-article testing.
