About The Position

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Quality Coordinator (Document Control) at our manufacturing facility in Provo, Utah. This position is responsible for ensuring quality expectations including, but not limited to employee safety, food safety, sanitation and quality systems. We want the right Quality Coordinator II to join us at Ryder and work with State of the Art Equipment in the Safest Warehouse Environment.

Requirements

• 3 years of quality assurance experience with document control within a food manufacturing facility
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3 or more years in QA/Document Control experience in the food and/or dietary supplement industry preferred
• Skilled using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to make decisions (good judgment), manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and interface effectively with customers and internal staff

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain documents and records relating to the quality system (specifications, Master Manufacturing Records, change control, deviations, material disposition forms)
• Collects and reviews supplier approval documents
• Assists with internal audits
• Creates and maintains quality system documentation and records, including specifications, item number creation, bills of materials (BOMs), master manufacturing records (MMRs), change controls, deviations, and material disposition forms
• Works with customers and purchasing to collect supplier documents
• May perform other duties as assigned by Quality management
• May assist with customer complaints and corrective actions
• Performs other duties as assigned
