Manufacturing Associate
About The Position
International Paper is hiring a Manufacturing Associate for a second-shift role at its St. Anthony Sheet Plant in Huntingburg, Indiana. The position pays $22.20 per hour during a 90-day probationary period, with pay increasing afterward to $25.92–$29.44 per hour. The associate performs a variety of tasks in a flexible, fast-paced manufacturing environment while prioritizing safety, customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity. Work includes counting and stacking finished product, reading specification sheets, operating machines, performing inspections, using basic math, and completing quality and administrative documents accurately. The role also includes cleaning and general housekeeping, such as blowing down machines, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming, sweeping machine areas, and collecting scrap. Requirements
- Two years of work experience in a manufacturing environment; at least one year with the same employer is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform basic math, read specification sheets, operate machines, inspect products, complete documents accurately, and follow directions.
