About The Position
Safari Circuits manufactures printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) for the global electronics market, including products for the medical, military, and defense fields. Manufacturing Associate duties may include assembling, testing, and repairing circuit boards, as well as operating machines. Accuracy and quality are central to the role. The work requires the ability to complete a full shift, arrive on time, work overtime as needed, and follow the necessary schedule and job requirements, with reasonable accommodation where applicable. Some positions involve standing, moving, walking, lifting, and sitting for extended periods.
Requirements
- Manufacturing experience.
- Ability to stand for a full shift.
- Ability to bend, lift, twist, and turn.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, inspect, and test circuit boards to ensure quality and functionality.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment as required.
- Follow safety and quality procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
- Identify and resolve basic issues with PCB assemblies and machinery.
- Track and manage materials, including proper documentation and storage.
- Perform accurate measurements and basic calculations for quality assurance.
- Maintain accurate production records and enter data into tracking systems.
- Keep workstations clean and organized to support efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Participate in cross-training opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives.
