About The Position

ATI is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for its Richburg, South Carolina facility. The role performs a wide variety of tasks in the Finishing Department and assists on the shop floor to help meet production goals. The associate may perform work associated with Straightener Operator, Peeler Operator, Grinder Operator, Mark and Pack, Saw Operator, and Crane Operator roles. The position offers opportunities for growth through cross-training and job rotations.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks in the Finishing Department and assist with meeting production goals.
• Use measuring devices such as gauges, meters, calipers, and measuring tapes.
• Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and cranes.
• Use heat-treating furnaces to heat treat bar and coil products; follow mill instructions to regulate furnaces and adjust for non-conformances.
• Assist with setting up machines.
• Follow and implement prescribed safety rules and regulations.
