About The Position
Growing plastics manufacturer is looking for hands-on, mechanically inclined workers who can keep production running smoothly. If you like working with machines, solving problems, and staying busy, this is for you.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude (comfortable with tools, machines, adjustments)
- Good math skills (fractions, tape measure, basic calculations)
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch
- Self-driven and able to stay on task
- Reliable attendance
- Able to stand, lift, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience
- Machine operator background
- Experience in plastics, extrusion, converting, or similar industries
- Must be able to pass drug and background check.
- We participate in E-Verify
Responsibilities
- Run and monitor production machines (extrusion, converting, bag-making)
- Measure materials and product accurately to 1/16”
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow quality checks and production specs
- Stay productive with minimal supervision
