About The Position
This position requires a knowledge of basic material handling methods to ensure a quality product is delivered to all customers. Work requires a high school diploma or equivalent. This position requires minimal to no travel. Basic computer skills are needed, along with demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems. Other requirements include the ability to read blueprints, exceptional interpersonal skills, and an open mind to new ideas and concepts. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and results-oriented.

- Responsibility for quality and quantity of sub-assemblies
- Continuous improvement in support of department and company goals
- Supports, participates and encourages team building
- Provides feedback, both positive and negative, to the team, other related departments and the supervisor
- Promotes a positive work environment
- Follow all of Porter Corp’s procedures and policies
- Work safely and efficiently
- Stay customer focused
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Safe and efficient material handling to minimize damage
- Accuracy and completeness of deliverable materials to customers
