Requirements
- 4–7+ years of total welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- 1-2+ years of proven experience in a lead or supervisory role
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of blueprints, WPS, and material handling procedures
- Proven ability to mentor team members and ensure consistent quality and adherence to safety standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Assign daily tasks and priorities to Welders to meet production schedules
- Support task time and maintain smooth workflow across the welding team
- Train and coach Welders on proper processes, techniques, and safety practices
- Conduct initial quality checks of welds before QA inspection
- Communicate effectively with Supervisors and other departments regarding production and quality issues
- Ensure adherence to blueprints, Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), and proper material handling
