About The Position

The Kinetic Group is a world leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of small caliber ammunition under the iconic brands B&P, CCI, Federal Premium, Fiocchi, HEVI-Shot, Remington and Speer. We have domestic ammunition manufacturing facilities in Minnesota, Idaho, Arkansas, and Missouri, and service law enforcement, government agencies and sporting enthusiasts throughout the world. Today, The Kinetic Group is a part of the Ammo+ division of The Czechoslovak Group (CSG), which holds a diverse portfolio of companies in the defense, security, automotive, aerospace and rail industries. The Mechanical Adjuster role plays a vital part in our overall success. Mechanical Adjusters are responsible for operating, adjusting, and repairing production machinery used in the manufacture of ammunition. This includes machine operation as well as performing set‑ups, changeovers, maintenance, repairs, and equipment adjustments. This position reports to the Factory Operations Supervisor and is based out of our Anoka location.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of on-the-job experience, with mechanical experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment or equivalent technical degree
  • Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years old; able to pass a background check and pre-employment physical & drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the quality of the operation's output on a regular basis; make adjustments necessary to keep the operation and product within specification.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and basic maintenance activities to the point where maintenance cannot be accomplished effectively and efficiently without the assistance of the Maintenance Mechanic.
  • During major repairs, overhauls, and set-ups, work with the maintenance mechanics and other trade specialists to assist and learn the more complicated mechanical processes.
  • Maintain a productivity level that ensures on-time delivery of the product to internal or external customers.
  • Participate actively in the Natural Work Team process in the department.
  • Monitor work area to ensure that all safety precautions are being taken; make sure area is kept neat and orderly; follow all established safety rules and procedures and report all safety hazards/issues or potential safety problems to supervisor immediately.
