About The Position

The Manufacturing Associate assists with activities involved in manufacturing products and helps ensure production assignments are completed on time. The role supports the Manufacturing Supervisor with day-to-day department operations, chemical and product mixing, production activities, batch documentation, and maintaining an orderly work area. The position follows cGMP procedures and Standard Operating Procedures and may assist other departments as needed. This position is located in Johnson City, Tennessee, and works a weekday day schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The role is performed in a temperature-controlled pharmaceutical manufacturing facility and includes extended standing and walking on the manufacturing floor. Required protective equipment includes safety glasses, hearing protection, and gowning as needed. The employee must be available to respond to critical shift issues outside scheduled hours when needed. Requirements

Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing facility.
Some knowledge of the metric system.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Punctuality and consistent attendance.
Quality-driven approach and good attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift approximately 80–100 pounds, as stated in the Working Conditions/Physical Requirements section.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on a manufacturing floor.
Availability to respond to critical shift issues outside scheduled hours on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

Assist the Manufacturing Supervisor with day-to-day manufacturing department operations.
Mix chemicals needed for products using Crown Laboratories recipes and document each batch used.
Assist with production activities in accordance with the issued batch record.
Keep journal logbooks up to date.
Clean and wash utensils after use.
Keep the work area neat and orderly.
Help keep the production process flowing smoothly, including assisting on the production line as needed.
Inventory chemicals and raw materials in the manufacturing area at the end of each month or as needed for Inventory Control.
Assist in other departments or areas as needed.
Follow cGMP procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.
