Manufacturing Assembly Technician II (2nd Shift), Amazon Leo

AmazonKirkland, WA
$33 - $36Onsite

About The Position

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. The success of Amazon Leo depends on the quality, reliability, cost, manufacturability, throughput, and security of the products that you deliver. If you seek a fast-paced, dynamic environment; if you thrive on solving difficult problems where resolutions have high impact; and if you love the challenge of building something from scratch, then this role will be an ideal next career step. To be successful you need to be highly motivated and detail oriented while showing the highest standards of execution. The Integration Technician II is responsible for the assembly of Amazon Leo satellites. You will work closely with engineering, test, quality and operations teams to deliver Amazon Leo production hardware to final integration. Your day will involve hands-on responsibilities such as mechanical assembly, avionics integration, rigging, harnessing connections, fiber optic splicing and testing, requiring attention to detail, precision and adaptability. You’ll ensure that every satellite build meets the highest standards of quality, workmanship, and safety, while maintaining strict timelines to support launch schedules. Our MYPY Team builds critical electronic panels and antennas that allow satellites to communicate with Earth. These components transmit data and receive commands from ground stations—essential functions for any satellite mission. We are a collaborative team working across four shifts, partnering closely with the final integration team who installs our completed panels into satellites. Our goal is to deliver exceptional quality, efficiency, and execution for our customers by creating stable workflows and fostering positive team engagement. When you join this team, you'll work on various stages of panel manufacturing—from starting a new panel on the production line to delivering finished components to the integration team. You'll have opportunities to develop expertise across the entire manufacturing process while directly contributing to our operational excellence.
