This co-op role is designed for students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a focus on manufacturing. The co-op will support and promote a strong safety culture, contribute to critical success factors like safety, quality, delivery, and cost management, and assist in the development and qualification of new procedures and processes. The role involves acting as a manufacturing support interface with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, supporting Lean implementation, and understanding principles to reduce the cost of quality. A key aspect is driving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by analyzing data, implementing root-cause solutions, and identifying/facilitating process improvements for both quality and productivity. The co-op will also coordinate and communicate with all levels of the organization, develop best practices and procedures, participate in capital plan development, and assist in coordinating production and quality activities to meet customer expectations.
