About The Position

This role involves performing various job tasks in different work cells including Wrap, Oven, Gerber, Press, and Packaging. The laborer will be responsible for training, maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring data accuracy, and meeting production standards. The position requires the ability to handle multiple duties in a fast-paced manufacturing/production environment.

Requirements

Skilled in all training levels of Wrap Work Cell.
Able to identify material and follow schedules in all work cells.
Able to work standing all day.
Able to lift fifty pounds repeatedly.
Must be able to handle multiple duties in a fast paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and attention to detail are a must.
Must have strong eye / hand coordination.

Nice To Haves

Ability to learn or knowledge of the Hesco Armor production process.
Computer skills are a plus (working knowledge of Smartsheet and Microsoft Excel.)

Responsibilities

Works at Wrap, Oven, Gerber, Press, and Packaging performing job tasks as assigned.
Accomplishes cell tasks by establishing priorities with Production Supervisor and instructing and organizing staff.
Communicates scheduling deviations, material issues, and maintenance needs to Production Supervisor.
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing work cell on the use of PPE, and cleaning and maintaining machines, and relaying information to the Safety Committee.
Meets and exceeds traceability requirements by ensuring data is logged correctly, deviations are noted, and scrap is being moved off the production floor on a bi-weekly basis.
Trains and completes training records for cell associates and ensures cell associates have continued training to excel.
Continuously sets and exceeds aesthetic standards for prefinished goods, communicates expectations and standards to cell associates.
Contributes to team effort and morale by adjusting to change easily and maintaining a professional attitude.
Operates the PSA oven and performs Standard Product Verification.
Performs ply cut and assists the Gerber Operator.
Performs layup accurately.
