Requirements

Two or more years of manufacturing experience.
Associate’s degree or eight or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in a heavy Manufacturing or related field.
Knowledge and experience with mentoring and motivating team members.
Knowledge of welding, machining and NDE techniques.
Ability to interpret complex work instructions and processes.
Attention to detail/multitasking.
Execution of production orders.
Managing department and job costs.
Focus on quality and continuous improvement.
Record keeping of tests and changes for qualifications and approval process

Responsibilities

Support the supervisor in managing a team of hourly employees on work assignments.
Support coaching and mentoring team members to grow with assigned work experience.
Execute jobs priorities with the planning and technical support team.
Identify issues with product flow and resolve with the assistance of the technical support team.
Support supervisor to manage Productivity of the hourly team to ensure product movement and schedule requirements.
Ensure manufacturing processes are clearly defined and communicated from manufacturing engineering to the shop floor via technical instructions, project briefings, etc.
Provide technical guidance and training to operators, technicians, and manufacturing engineers on the use of fixtures, tooling, and equipment.
