About The Position

We are seeking a Manual tester for a hybrid role in Sacramento, CA, requiring 3 days per week in the office. This is a contract position expected to last 12+ months.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in manual software testing
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM)
• Hands-on experience with functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing
• Good understanding of databases and ability to write basic SQL queries for data validation
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Maintain, write and execute test cases
• Document test results accurately
• Perform functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing
• Validate data using basic SQL queries
