About The Position
Department of Elections (ELECT) is looking to hire an experienced manual tester to assist with the rollout of a new software system. Candidate will regularly work independently and needs to be able to clearly report their findings to both their direct manager and other stake holders. They will handle a variety of testing types, including ADA, PCI, and Load Testing. ELECT uses an Agile methodology, so familiarity with SCRUM or SAFE Agile environment will be required.
Requirements
- Works well Independently
- Very strong communication skills (Written and verbal)
- Experience in Manual Testing (Web sites, APIs, and Desktop Applications)
- Experience in Test Case/ Test Plan (Planning, writing, execution)
- Experience in Scrum or SAFE Agile environments
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a QA analyst on a scrum team
- Experience in compliance testing (ADA, PCI, ETC)
- Experience in Load Testing and or performance testing
- Experience in Python or C#
- Experience in X-ray
Responsibilities
