About The Position

Machine precision components used to repair industrial pumps and rotating equipment in an OEM-authorized repair facility. This is a manual machining position, not CNC production work. The machinist sets up and operates manual machine tools to machine new components, repair worn parts, and reverse engineer equipment using drawings, sketches, or existing components. The work is varied and setup-heavy, requiring precision, problem solving, and craftsmanship. Tencarva is a distributor, engineering and design partner, and authorized repair center in the process equipment and flow control market. Founded in 1978, with roots dating to 1926, the company has 38 locations across 16 states and serves more than 17,000 active customers in industrial and municipal water and wastewater markets. Its services include system analysis and design, applications engineering, custom equipment-package fabrication, automation and controls, equipment repair, and thermal hard coatings. The position is shop-based and works day shift, Monday through Friday. Tencarva describes the shop as having realistic workloads and expectations rather than a high-pressure production environment, with a family-oriented culture and a local-shop feel. The company is privately held and reports stable growth, no history of layoffs, and consistent demand for repair services.
