About The Position
Support the precision repair and refurbishment of industrial gas turbine components by safely and accurately operating manual machine equipment. This role ensures high-quality, dimensionally accurate parts are manufactured to specification, contributing directly to operational reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction within the gas turbine repair facility.
Requirements
- Conventional and CNC machining experience on mills and lathes required.
- Knowledge of CAD and ability to assist in reverse engineering parts.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an industrial machining or turbine repair environment preferred.
- Wire EDM experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Machine complex, high-precision industrial gas turbine components.
- Operate manual mills and lathes.
- Assist with reverse engineering of parts using CAD software.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments.
- Perform mechanical assembly and disassembly as required.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition.
- Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned
