About The Position
The Machinist plays a critical role in manufacturing by operating and maintaining precision machine tools to produce high-quality metal parts and components. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating manual machines in a machine shop environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in precision measuring techniques and use of measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of machine tool operation, setup, and maintenance.
- Manual machine operation, precision measuring, and blueprint reading are essential for accurately producing parts that meet design specifications.
- Daily use of machine tools and manual lathes demands a high level of technical proficiency and attention to detail to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Deburring skills ensure that finished parts are safe and free of imperfections, which is critical for product reliability.

Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain manual machines for the R&D department to fabricate precision parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
- Perform precision measuring and inspection of finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machine tools to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Deburr and finish machined parts to meet quality and safety standards before final assembly or shipment.
