About The Position
As a Manual Machinist, you will operate manual mills and lathes, utilizing fabrication equipment such as jig borers and grinders. Your role involves operating saws, undercutting saws, and handheld plasma equipment, as well as using welding and fabricating equipment to cut or weld parts.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual machining operations (no CNC experience required)
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Solid mathematical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to be on call for after‑hours and weekend work as required
- Willingness and ability to perform road jobs as needed
- Must successfully pass an entry test administered by the respective supervisor
