About The Position

Seeking dependable, motivated Manual Machinists to join a growing manufacturing team. Candidates should have experience operating manual milling machines and/or manual lathes. Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn will also be considered.

The position is in a clean, air-conditioned, well-maintained machine shop and offers opportunities for skill development and long-term growth.

Requirements

• Manual machining experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Bridgeport mills and/or manual lathes is highly desirable.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Bridgeport mills and/or manual lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual milling machines, including Bridgeport vertical mills, and manual engine lathes.
• Perform milling, turning, drilling, tapping, boring, and facing operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and machining specifications.
• Select cutting tools, set up workholding, and adjust machines to meet tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain quality standards and a safe, organized work environment.
