About The Position

Are you a hands-on machinist who enjoys working with precision tools and creating high-quality parts? We are looking for a dedicated Manual Machinist to join our growing team! In this role, you will operate and maintain manual machines, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to create precision parts for aerospace applications.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of manual machining experience or related training
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and quality

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CNC machines is a plus but not required
• Work with Hardinge lathes, Bridgeport mills, LeBlond lathes, and drill presses (experience preferred)
• Knowledge of speeds, feeds, and tooling (a plus!)

Responsibilities

• Operate manual lathes, mills, and grinders to machine parts to specifications
• Read blueprints and use shop math to ensure accuracy
• Set up tools, fixtures, and materials correctly
• Inspect parts for quality and make adjustments as needed
• Follow safety procedures and best machining practices
• Assist in process improvements and collaborate with the team
