About The Position

IB-Tech is hiring a Manual Machinist to produce high-quality, precision components. The role involves setting up and operating manual machine tools and Haas CNC equipment, interpreting technical specifications, verifying part dimensions, maintaining quality records, and supporting fabrication, repairs, assembly, and process improvements. This is a full-time position available on either the first or third shift. Pay starts at $25 per hour and is based on experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of CNC machining experience.
At least 1 year of CNC milling machine experience.
Ability to read blueprints, use machining equipment and hand tools, and work accurately to tight tolerances.
Strong mechanical aptitude, analytical and troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members.
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

Manual lathe experience.
Intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses, as well as Haas CNC equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T requirements, and CAD models.
Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Inspect finished parts, document measurements, and maintain quality records.
Perform routine machine maintenance, change tooling, and maintain a safe, organized work area.
Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams on tooling, fabrication, repairs, and process improvements.
Assist with assembly, modifications, and other shop activities as needed.
Support continuous improvement efforts to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain quality standards.
