Requirements

Proven experience as a Manual Machinist in a manufacturing or job shop environment.
Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficiency with precision measuring tools and manual machining equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

Technical training or apprenticeship is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain manual machining equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, and related tools.
Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to produce precision parts.
Perform manual machining operations to meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Make machine adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety policies.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and promptly report equipment issues or malfunctions.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to meet production schedules and resolve challenges.
Accurately document work performed, measurements taken, and any deviations from specifications.
Follow all safety procedures and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
