The Manual Machinist II is responsible for independently setting up, operating, inspecting, and troubleshooting conventional machining operations using manual lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses, saws, and related equipment. This role requires the ability to interpret complex prints, apply common GD&T requirements, determine machining methods, select appropriate tooling, and perform in-process inspection to ensure parts meet quality and production standards. A Manual Machinist II is a fully independent machinist for standard and moderately complex machining work. This role is expected to maintain productivity and quality, resolve common machining issues, support multiple machining operations where applicable, and assist less experienced machinists as needed.
