About The Position
ATI Forged Products produces and markets a wide range of specialty metal alloys, including titanium, nickel, and steel forgings to end use markets such as aerospace, energy, oil & gas, and general industrial markets. We have several operating facilities and deliver products to customers globally. We are currently seeking a Manipulator Operator at our Cudahy, WI, plant. This position is responsible for operating mechanical equipment and transporting and positioning hot stock in hammers and presses.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities
- Operates manipulator removing hot stock from furnace
- Transports hot stock to forging unit
- Positions stock on forging die; may perform re-positioning of stock during the forging operation
- Removes forging or prepared stock form forging unit and transports to other forging units to pallet or back to furnace for additional heating
- Loads furnaces positioning stock in furnace in conformance to heat requirement of stock and forging process
- Checks manipulator reporting equipment failure for needed repairs
- Other job duties as assigned.
