We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Mandarin Teacher to introduce young learners (ages 3–15) to foundational Mandarin language skills. In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that foster curiosity, cultural understanding, and early language acquisition. The ideal candidate is warm, organized, and able to adapt instruction to support the needs of preschool-aged students.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education, language instruction, or a related field
- Proficiency in Mandarin and effective language teaching methodologies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to create an engaging, nurturing learning experience for preschool-aged students
- Frequently walk, stand, sit, squat, stoop, reach, kneel, rise from the floor, twist, listen, read, write, and speak the English language
- Often carry, lift, use repetitive or fine hand movements, and occasionally push, pull, or bend
- Regularly hear and use clear vision with or without correction

Responsibilities
- Teach Mandarin language fundamentals in an age-appropriate, interactive, and joyful way
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote early language learning and cultural exploration
- Create a safe, welcoming, and supportive classroom environment
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet children’s developmental levels and individual needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate language learning across the school environment
- Maintain open and consistent communication with parents and guardians regarding progress
