About The Position

Leakproof Piping System Inc. is seeking a responsible, detail-oriented Safety Assistant to support daily safety operations and compliance activities at its office and job sites. This entry-level role is suitable for recent graduates and candidates interested in occupational health and safety. No prior safety experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required, including verbal and written communication. The expected start dates are November 9, 16, 23, or 30, 2026.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin, including verbal and written communication.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to work in office and job-site environments and comply with applicable safety requirements.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work collaboratively with the team.
• No prior safety experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided.

Nice To Haves

• College coursework or a degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with personal protective equipment (PPE) and basic safety concepts.
• Safety certifications such as OSHA 10/30, CPR, or First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Support the Safety Coordinator and Safety Officer with daily safety operations.
• Assist with routine safety checks and inspections.
• Maintain safety documents, inspection records, and training records.
• Coordinate safety-related testing, medical examinations, and compliance screenings, including drug testing, and maintain related records.
• Assist with applications and documentation for job-site access badges, such as red/white cards.
• Help organize personal protective equipment (PPE), safety supplies, and safety signage on-site.
• Translate safety documents, instructions, and communications between English and Mandarin.
• Provide English-Mandarin interpretation during safety meetings, training sessions, and on-site communications as needed.
• Report unsafe behaviors or conditions to supervisors.
• Participate in safety drills and assist with emergency procedures.
• Follow company safety policies and applicable job-site requirements.
