About The Position

Leakproof Piping System Inc. is seeking a Safety Assistant to support daily safety tasks on-site. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates looking to begin or build their career in occupational health and safety. Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required. The company is a joint venture established by Li Jie Industrial Co., Ltd. and another Taiwan-based engineering company, with over 20 years of experience in Taiwan specializing in pipeline system installation and maintenance, as well as engineering plastic materials. They have worked on high-profile projects for global leaders and are expanding into the United States to offer high-performance, leakproof piping solutions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Willingness to work in field conditions and follow safety guidelines
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin

Nice To Haves

• College coursework in safety or engineering is a plus
• Previous internship or work experience in industrial, construction, or engineering environment preferred
• Safety certification s (e.g., OSHA 10/30, CPR, First Aid) are a plus
• Familiarity with PPE and basic safety concepts is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support the Safety Coordinator and Safety Officer with day-to-day safety operations
• Help conduct routine safety checks and inspections
• Assist in maintaining safety documents and records (e.g., attendance logs, SDS, reports)
• Set up and maintain PPE supplies and safety signage on-site
• Translate or interpret safety instructions during meetings or training sessions
• Report any unsafe behavior or conditions to supervisors
• Participate in safety drills and assist in emergency procedures
