About The Position
Language Trainers is an international language training company working with freelance teachers of 99+ languages in hundreds of cities worldwide. Founded in 2004, our motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere (and Online). We provide customized language training to professionals and private students for work, family, and travel purposes. We are currently looking for a freelance Mandarin Chinese Teacher for one of our clients in Seattle, United States. The course type is General, with a one-to-one format. The total hours are 20, with session lengths of two-hours. The student is a beginner, aged 45-55, and prefers to meet once per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays between 11 am and 1 pm. The preferred start date is as soon as possible.
Requirements
- Be a native Mandarin Chinese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
- Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
- Have a valid work permit/visa
- Live within 20 miles of the specified location (98117, Seattle)

Responsibilities
- Provide customized language training to professionals and private students.
- Teach Mandarin Chinese to a beginner student in a one-to-one format.
