About The Position

AcutePet Urgent Care is seeking an experienced, collaborative veterinarian to serve as the Managing Veterinarian of our Beavercreek hospital. This role involves providing meaningful clinical leadership while continuing to practice medicine. The Managing Veterinarian will help support the development of doctors and medical team members, strengthen clinical standards, guide hospital workflows, and foster a culture where people feel supported, accountable, and proud of the care they provide. This leadership role allows for continued connection to patient care while impacting the team, hospital, and the future of AcutePet.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the Practice Manager to lead the hospital’s people, culture, and daily operations.
• Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and support to veterinarians and medical team members.
• Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer on medical quality, clinical standards, training, and professional development.
• Help create consistency in workflows, communication, and the patient and client experience.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, mentoring, and well-being of veterinary team members.
• Practice high-quality urgent care medicine alongside the team you lead.
• Encourage thoughtful decision-making, continuous learning, and a sustainable approach to veterinary medicine.
