About The Position
The Centers, a leading behavioral health provider in Northeast Ohio, is launching the Glick Recovery Campus (GRC) and is seeking a Managing Nurse Practitioner to lead and enhance psychiatric and advanced practice care. This dynamic clinical leadership role involves overseeing all Nurse Practitioner services, working closely with the Medical Director and Chair of Psychiatry, and acting as Medical Director when necessary. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader committed to providing competent, compassionate, and courageous care to individuals in vulnerable moments.
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited school with appropriate training as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
- Current Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification required
- Current and unrestricted Ohio RN and APRN licensure required; compact licensure preferred
- Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority required
- Completed required training to prescribe medications for opioid use disorder
- Minimum 7 years of nursing or advanced practice clinical experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- Minimum 3 years of prescriber experience in crisis services; behavioral health, psychiatric care, or substance use treatment required
- 2 years of demonstrated leadership, supervisory, or clinical management experience in behavioral health required

- Demonstrated ability to lead in high-acuity, fast-paced crisis environments
- Strong communication skills — verbal and written

- Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion
- Collaborative mindset with a track record of building strong teams and partnerships
