Requirements

Ph.D. in Aero-Astro, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical, Nuclear, Petroleum Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Practical and theoretical understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and combustion
Presently legally authorized to work in the United States; no immigration sponsorship or processing required
5+ years of post-graduate experience
Outstanding ability to apply fundamental engineering concepts to new problems
Hands-on experience in designing and executing experimental programs
Familiarity with technical documents and equipment
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
P.E. license or willingness to obtain a P.E. license
Versatile, team-oriented, willing to travel when required
Ability to interact with managers, engineers, non-technical personnel, and clients, and present technical topics in a cogent and comprehensible manner
Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience mentoring new consultants

Managing projects from initiation to completion

Performing laboratory experiments and analytical or computational modeling

Gathering information from and conveying technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, the legal profession, business, and industry
