Requirements

Minimum age of 18
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Previous experience in a supervisory role
Extensive operational working knowledge and experience
Ability to develop presentation for senior management
Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
Possess the legal right to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

College degree, preferred
Operational working knowledge and experience in a large station or HUB, preferred

Responsibilities

Oversight of the operations department personnel in their daily duties. Interacts daily with all departments at the Hub to foster better communication and productive relationships
Develops procedures and guidelines to effectively disseminate information between various departments
Oversees the coordination of station activities with SOC/MOC on cancellations, delays, equipment routing, aircraft moves, etc. Coordinates with Capacity Planning on future schedule changes. Acts as a liaison between Envoy, American Eagle, American Airlines, and the FAA to enhance the hub's operational performance
Communicate and coordinate with other airlines for aircraft movement and ramp control oversight
Able to perform all duties under sometimes stressful conditions beyond the employee's control while attempting to influence a favorable impression of American Eagle, American Airlines or any other contracted airline service provided by Envoy
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills in addition to proven leadership and teamwork skills
