About The Position

Guidehouse is hiring a Managing Consultant in Mobility within its Sustainability Consulting job family. The role leads defined workstreams for electric-vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and broader mobility programs for state and local government clients. The consultant develops transportation electrification strategies, deployment plans, business cases, cost-effectiveness analyses, implementation roadmaps, and other work designed to maximize public value and manage risk. The position supports end-to-end solutions, from startup through launch and steady-state operations, including stakeholder engagement, communications and outreach, data collection, process design, application or incentive administration, and performance reporting. It translates research, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and client input into clear findings, practical options, and actionable recommendations, and prepares and presents client-ready reports, presentations, models, and other deliverables. The consultant facilitates client interviews, workshops, working sessions, and requirements gathering; manages assigned workplans, schedules, risks, issues, status reporting, and performance measures; and builds productive client relationships. The role also guides junior staff and subcontractors, contributes to proposal development and business development, identifies client needs and market opportunities, and supports internal initiatives in Mobility Solutions and State and Local Government. The position requires managing multiple priorities, budgets, engagement documentation, utilization, contract requirements, client commitments, and travel needs. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of overall work experience. The annual salary range is $122,000–$204,000. Guidehouse offers a comprehensive total rewards package and flexible benefits.
