About The Position
Accountable to the clinical director for the day to day operations of the nursing unit. Assists the clinical director in administrative management; organization, planning, directing, and development of the nursing unit(s). Assists clinical director in development of staffing plan for annual budget, and provides input for non-salary budget. Provides administrative coverage in the absence of the clinical director.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferably in nursing, or actively pursuing a bachelor's degree, or demonstrates competencies for the role of the clinical manager through extensive clinical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years job-related experience.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Ability to coach, mentor and influence.
- State of CT Registered Nurse License.
