About The Position

To provide programmatic and administrative supervision of the South Carolina AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC) education programs regarding HIV treatment and care and prevention for medical providers and allied health professionals across the State of South Carolina. Directs the AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC) operations of South Carolina to ensure HIV education for clinicians to increase and support a workforce capable of and who intend to provide care and treatment to people with or at-risk of HIV. Directs telehealth training operations for South Carolina to ensure HIV and Hepatitis education for clinician practices in rural and underserved areas using technology-based education and training programs, consultative support. and patient co- management. Works cooperatively with faculty and staff of the program. Monitors activities to ensure program quality and compliance, attainment of performance objectives, and accurate and timely reporting to program sponsors. Promotes and encourages active participation of trainees across the State. Develops and maintain grant proposals and budgets according to sponsor guidelines for program continuity and continuation.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing, Public Health or Social Work.
  • Five (5) years of supervisory or management experience in nursing, public health or social work.
