Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • Professional communication skills and resolution experience
  • Proficient in general office equipment (fax machines, calculators, photo copiers, etc.)
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Nice To Haves

  • Prior retail and sales experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, develop, motivate and evaluate the performance of staff consistent with management expectations.
  • Implement company work rules (discipline, discharge, motivate, and evaluate) consistently and fairly, communicate effectively with staff, and prepare all necessary documentation.
  • Establish, communicate, monitor, complete and update objectives and procedures for subordinates consistent with company goals and objectives.
  • Conduct meetings to communicate and discuss problem areas, employee concerns, plans, projections, etc.
  • Monitor the financial performance of the location, to include transactions, revenue, length of rental, daily dollar average and daily business rentals.
  • Maintain the security of company assets, to include vehicle inventory and cash drawers.
  • Monitor rates and fleet availability on an ongoing basis to determine if consistent with customer needs.
  • Review, modify and take steps necessary to control personnel expenses and ensure compliance with profit plan projections.
  • Utilize effective planning/scheduling to minimum overtime expenses consistent with customer requirements and business levels.
  • Monitor/audit time cards, enforce regulations, and conduct shift bids as necessary.
  • Observe and counsel employees concerning customer interaction to ensure compliance with service standards.
  • Resolve customer complaints to ensure satisfaction, within the limits of authority.
  • Perform other duties and special assignments as required.
