About The Position

The role focuses on risk, compliance, and control transformation in highly automated environments, combining SOX knowledge, cloud architecture understanding, and familiarity with modern software development practices, including AI-assisted coding and product and software development lifecycles (PDLC/SDLC). The Manager will support complex Digital Risk engagements, own key workstreams, and contribute to program delivery across cloud-native environments. The role partners with senior team members and client stakeholders—including finance, technology, and engineering teams—to design and implement scalable, audit-ready risk and compliance frameworks. Responsibilities also include coordinating delivery, advising teams on technical risk considerations, and designing and evaluating controls across engineering processes and distributed technology platforms.

  • At least 5 years of experience in Digital Risk, IT risk, or technology consulting, with exposure to TMT sector clients.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, microservices architectures, DevOps/CI/CD, SDLC/PDLC, and distributed systems.
  • Experience supporting IT general controls (ITGCs) and automated control environments.
  • Experience supporting risk assessments, control testing, and control design.
  • Experience with technology risk engagements in cloud-native or distributed environments.
  • Understanding of how regulatory and control frameworks, such as SOX and internal controls, apply in modern engineering environments.
  • Exposure to data platforms and AI-enabled development environments.
  • Willingness to travel at least 50%, including to client sites, and flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
  • Ability to communicate technical risk concepts as practical business insights, collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality work.

  • Cloud certification, such as AWS, or an AI-related certification.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage workstreams across cloud platforms, microservices architectures, and AI-enabled development environments, including risk assessments, control design, and testing.
  • Work directly with client stakeholders, including finance, IT, and engineering teams, to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Oversee day-to-day delivery by coordinating team members, tracking progress, and ensuring deliverable quality and timeliness.
  • Contribute to engagement performance through resource management, status tracking, and support for budgeting and forecasting.
  • Provide technical guidance to team members on cloud, platform, and engineering risk considerations.
