Leads district efforts to support a citywide public health approach to the development, implementation, evaluation and management of youth violence prevention and intervention programming. Works to identify and close gaps between the needs of families impacted by violence and current district policy and system responses. Manages the day-to-day communication and activities between internal departments, community-based organizations, city and state agencies and the Youth Resilience Liaison team. In partnership with the city, applies strategies to significantly reduce gun and gang violence in Denver through data-driven, collaborative violence prevention and reduction programing.
