About The Position

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Manager, Treasury Management Solutions to manage and lead the Treasury Solutions department, providing operational support to the Treasury line of business. The role oversees staff and Treasury operational processes, maintains and improves department procedures, and works with other departments to support sound operations. The manager also supports the Treasury line of business with operational knowledge and expertise.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
At least five years of operations, treasury management, or retail experience in a banking environment or related field.
At least one year of experience managing others.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
Management and training experience.

Responsibilities

Manage the Treasury Solutions department by training, coaching, and guiding staff, while managing Treasury operational processes.
Maintain and update Treasury Operations processes within the department.
Manage day-to-day department operations and review opportunities to improve process efficiency.
Develop and implement performance metrics to achieve optimal staff utilization.
Lead or participate in special projects as needed, including bank acquisitions.
Create or manage timely, professional communications to Treasury line of business staff about operational information and changes.
Create or maintain operations procedures.
Partner with departments such as Operations, Bank Protection, Compliance, and Audit to ensure operational soundness.
Provide support and subject-matter expertise to the Treasury line of business.
